Hello, and welcome to Episode 56 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I’m your host, Brad Shreffler.
This week on the show I am joined by a ton of people from my area as we do our ISTE 2018 wrap up. Throughout the International Society for Technology in Education 2018 conference, we tried to do little wrap up recordings to discuss what we learned that day. We were not as successful as last year recording every day, in fact we only did on Sunday, but some really good conversation came out of it. Chip and I also met up once we got back from Chicago and did a little more wrap up of the rest of the conference.
We recorded that first day for a little over an hour. I was joined by former guests Andrew Jackson, Nicole Mutters, and Chip Harbin, as well as some new voices to the show Rosina and Jackie. We talk about the lines in the morning, Dan Kreiness’s Coaching Tools session, first round of IGNITEs, and more.
The audio editing isn’t perfect here. Volume levels were off with that many people in one room, and we recorded for over an hour and I had to whittle it down some, so there are some cuts that are obvious. Sorry, but there is some good conversation in there I thought was worth hearing.
So, sit back and enjoy Episode 56 of the Planning Period Podcast, my ISTE 2018 Wrap Up.
Thank you all for joining me on the podcast to talk about ISTE. I’m glad I got to spend so much time with you guys while we were in Chicago and learn so much.
