Hello, and welcome to Episode 94 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I’m your host, Brad Shreffler.

This week on the show I am joined by Mike Washburn, Head of Curriculum and Training for Logics Academy in Canada. He is also the co-host of OnEducation, one of the top education podcasts out there. I had his co-host, Glen Irvin on the show recently and knew I wanted to talk to Mike. And I did, at ISTE. And it was lost. So this is talk number 2.

Mike and I talk about the rise of OnEducation, the problems caused by fear in education, including fears teachers have of failure, administration, school boards and districts, the importance of trust and how it leads to the fear, how important it is to be yourself, the difficulties with accepting feedback, and how a great teacher can change the path of your life.

So, sit back and enjoy Episode 94 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Mike Washburn.
