Hello, and welcome to Episode 59 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I’m your host, Brad Shreffler.
This week on the show I am joined by Daniel Brennick. Daniel and I met at an EdCamp a couple months ago, and while I was looking for a guest to join me, so he jumped at the chance. We had some great conversations at the EdCamp and they continued onto this show. This was also part of the VoicEd Radiothon, and we aired it live last week. Because of that, the sound quality isn’t as great as I would usually like, and there are some technical difficulties especially at the end, but the conversation is worth it I think.
Daniel and I talk about the differences between public schools and charter schools, technology in the classroom and one-to-one programs, the problems with the way school is portrayed, connecting classrooms to the outside world, and the power of high expectations.
So, sit back and enjoy Episode 59 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Daniel Brennick.
