Hello, and welcome to Episode 86 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I’m your host, Brad Shreffler.

This week on the show I am joined by Jessica Reed. Jessica is the second in my series of podcasting blind dates. Jessica is an English teacher out of Alabama, a special ed teacher, and finishing her EDS at KSU.

Jessica and I talk about doing grad work and what we can bring back to our classrooms, the problems with federal education leadership, what we can do about it, why teachers might need to speak business, the importance of using technology in classrooms and balancing digital and analog teaching, how tests don’t tell us everything, and how relationships bring context to our classroom.

So, sit back and enjoy Episode 86 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Jessica Reed.
