Hello, and welcome to Episode 27 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I’m your host, Brad Shreffler.
This week on the show I am joined by Shane Lawrence. Shane is a teacher of drama, computers, film study, and film production out of Canada, as well as The Ed Podcast. As you might have guessed from his Canadian locale, I first met Shane through the VoicEd network, and we quickly bonded over our inability to be serious or stay on topic. I was recently on Shane’s podcast, and he titled the episode “Two Squirrels in a Cage” which was truly appropriate.
Shane and I talk about authentic learning, environment design, cross-curricular collaboration, always trying to iterate and improve, reflecting on the fly, and the importance of building connections with your students.
So, sit back and enjoy Episode 27 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Shane Lawrence.
Thank you again Shane for talking with me. I thoroughly enjoy our conversations as we jump all over the place.
If you want to connect with Shane you can find him on twitter @TheEdPodcast, and find his podcast, The Ed Podcast by looking up “ed conversations” on any podcasting app, or at theedpodcast.podbean.com. I also have a link in the show notes to the episode of his show I was on.

Until next week, remember that there are no subjects in life.
