Episode 28 – Joanna Bull

Hello, and welcome to Episode 28 of the Planning Period Podcast, your #EdBreakroom. I’m your host, Brad Shreffler.

This week on the show I am joined by Joanna Bull, a Digital Literacy Resource Teacher out of Ontario, Canada. Joanna and I were together on an Inquiry-Based Learning Panel for Que Sera Sarah?, and I loved what she shared at that time, so I had to have her on the show.

Joanna and I talk about professional development models, experiential learning, the intricacies of being a coach, the impact, good and bad, a teacher can have on students, and the importance of community with your students and trainees.

So, sit back and enjoy Episode 28 of the Planning Period Podcast, my interview with Joanna Bull.

Thank you again Joanna for sharing that all with us. It was very personal and real.

If you want to connect with Joanna she’s on twitter @IdeaSmashing. She doesn’t post a lot (and Joanna, you should share more!).

Also, a big shout-out to Jennifer Stanchfield, who we talked about a lot in this episode. You can find her work at ExperientialTools.com or on Twitter @JenStanchfield.

If you have comments or questions about the show, you can always connect with me on twitter, @BradShreffler. I love to hear from you. That’s also a great place to connect if you’d like to be a guest on the show.

Until next week, remember that there are no subjects in life.
